PACIFIC NORTHWEST AEROSPACE ALLIANCE | www.pnaa.net CHAIRWOMAN'S LETTER Welcome to PNAA’s 18th Annual Aerospace Conference. I appreciate you taking the time to join us for the conference and it is my hope that you find it a rewarding experience as we continue to delve into the significant changes happening in the industry. It has remained our mission to promote the growth and global competitiveness of the Pacific Northwest Aerospace cluster and I’m confident that the agenda for the next few days will help you and your businesses do just that and keep this cluster soaring to success in the future. This has been an incredible year across the aerospace sector. We have reached heights that were previously thought to be impossible across aviation, aerospace manufacturing and space. A new potential aircraft model, increases in build rates, and a Mars landing are just a few of the milestones. We also continue to see big changes on the horizon with new and expanding technologies, such as urban air mobility and advances in additive manufacturing techniques. How does all of this affect our businesses? What changes do we need to make to keep up with the ever-changing landscape? Those are just some of the questions we intend to help you answer. For the next three days, experts from across the globe will share the latest market intelligence, trends, and analytics, providing a clearer understanding of potential impacts and what we can do to stay on the cutting edge of this industry. As part of our commitment to our members, we have built in ample time for you to network with your colleagues. Please take this time to share ideas and best practices that have helped you succeed, as collaboration is the best way for us all to reach our highest potential. Looking forward to meeting with you at the conference. I’m very happy to be a part of this journey with all of you in the greatest industry out there! To infinity and beyond!
