Allflight gives PNAA crowd an intriguing glimpse at MRO business in the Pacific NW
Thirty PNAA members and participants attended a Breakfast Meeting at Allflight in Kent on July 19th. CEO Jimmy Wu and Accountable Manager Randy Elvrom gave presentations and a tour of the Allflight facility. This meeting was an excellent opportunity for participants to learn about the MRO side of the industry and how the industry could benefit from increased collaboration.
Wu gave a very enlightening presentation outlining Allflight’s vision and unique approach to business, and Elvrom followed with an explanation of Allflight’s approach to leadership and an illustration of the maintenance, repair and reclamation services the company offers. Both made it clear that the company’s character-driven and community-minded approach to business serves the company well, and makes for satisfied customers and employees.
In addition, Elvrom put out an invitation to join together with others in the aerospace community to build the local aerospace community through sharing of mentorship, wisdom and experience. PNAA looks forward to working with Allflight and other members of the community to help reinforce and maintain our region’s competitive position within the industry.
A tour of the facility followed the presentations, and allowed attendees to get a good look at an MRO in action.

PNAA's July 19th Breakfast Meeting:
MRO Business in the Pacific Northwest
Join PNAA Thursday, July 19th to learn the current status of the MRO industry in the Pacific Northwest. Allflight’s CEO Jimmy Wu and Accountable Manager Randy Elvrom will review the growth of their business in the MRO sector of the aerospace industry and discuss what their expectations are for the future. They will give a broad view of the industry and highlight opportunities and pitfalls they envision in the next ten years.
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the new Allflight facility and a discussion of how PNAA can better support the Pacific Northwest airline industry.

About the Presenters:
For the past 26 years, Mr. Jimmy Wu, CEO/President of Infinity Air Group has focused his education and cultivated his experience in the world of Commercial Aviation spares purchasing and sales. Mr. Wu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Wu has been the President and CEO of Infinity Air, Inc. located in Tarzana, California and Miami, FL since 2000. In 2003 Mr. Wu acquired Allflight Corporation, an FAA, EASA, ANAC, CASE and CAAC repair station located in Seattle, WA. In 2012, a third division was added to the Infinity Air group of companies with the opening of Allflight Florida Corporation as a certified Repair Station under Mr. Wu’s leadership. Mr. Wu oversees over 70 employees and manages over 120,000 sq. ft. of facility space in three locations. Prior to Infinity Air, Mr. Wu was the North American Purchasing Manager and the Pacific Rim/Southeast Asia Sales Manager for Ryder Aviation Sales. Mr. Wu is a Director on the ASA Board of Directors, where he plays a key role at leveraging his strong relations within the Pacific Rim/Southeast Asia in an effort to ensure that distributor standards are consistent. He is strongly committed to airline safety and promotes safety and distributor accreditation throughout the world.
Mr. Randy Elvrom started his career in aviation with the Boeing Company in 1989. He worked there until 1993 and ended his time with Boeing as CQI team leader for the structures department. In 1993 Mr. Elvrom helped start an FAA repair facility in Texas from scratch. Evans Composites MRO went from $0 to over $20 million in revenue, capturing over 10% of the market in six years with Randy as the founding member.
In 2005, Mr. Elvrom joined Allflight Corporation as Vice President. He has helped the company grow from repairing windows to adding flight surfaces, composite, structures, nacelles, doors, and galley components to the current capability list. Randy Elvrom has helped catapult the Allflight team from just 7 members to almost 50 current members including technicians and support staff. These goals were established with a vision of solid work ethics, and a belief that time stands still for no one, as well as an intense love of the business and an over whelming dream of success.
