Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance Announces New Officers to Board of Directors

Bellevue, WA - October 31, 2016 - Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance, a non-profit aerospace organization dedicated to promoting the growth and success of the aerospace industry in the Northwest, announced its new board following its Annual Meeting to elect directors and officers on Oct. 20, 2016. The PNAA board has a new president, vice president, and secretary.

Ted Croft, Pyrotek Aerospace, was elected Chairman and will replace Bill King of SubRosa Aero. John Graham, Fulcrum Associates, was elected Vice Chairman, Chris Nussbaum, Universal Aerospace was elected Secretary and Tom Sanger, Moss Adams LLP., was re-elected treasurer.

"Their hard work and dedication to the industry has helped propel PNAA in stature and influence in the northwest and in aerospace clusters around the globe. We are thankful for their time and look forward to their contined energy and leadership."

About PNAA's Board Officers:

Ted Croft is co-founder and partner of Pyrotek Aerospace Ltd., located in British Columbia Canada. Pyrotek is a NADCAP and Boeing approved special process house. Croft started in the metallic industry in 1976. His career in the aerospace industry began in 1988 at Avcorp Industries where he worked in the sheet metal / heat treat department. In 1993, Pyrotek was founded and became the second company in BC to be registered to the ISO 9002 quality standard. ISO registration enabled Pyrotek to become an approved supplier to Major OEM’s such as Bombardier, Bell Helicopter and eventually Boeing in 1997. Croft is a firm believer in building opportunities for aerospace companies in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to his new post as Chair of PNAA, Croft also serves with the AIAC Pacific committee, and on the board of the Aviation Leadership Foundation, both in BC.

John Graham is President of Redmond, WA based Fulcrum Associates, LLC. He has thirty-five years of experience in manufacturing and quality management. He has directed several teams through implementation of Quality Management Systems in aerospace, medical, and professional services industries. He has an extensive background in various engineering disciplines including research & development, design, test, manufacturing, and quality engineering.  

John has taught AS9100 Lead Auditor, aerospace and ISO related courses at Bellevue College since 1992. Besides the training he has conducted at several community colleges, John has also conducted numerous seminars on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and AS9100 covering all aspects of the standards. He has also served as lead internal auditor and trainer on these standards. He currently represents PNAA as a member of the ASQSC writing committee for the AS9100 2016 update.

Chris Nussbaum is the VP Sales and Marketing at Universal Aerospace Co., Inc.  He has over eight years of experience in the commercial aerospace industry and has worked for two Tier 1 companies in the Pacific Northwest.  Chris has served on the PNAA Board of Directors since 2013.  His hard work and dedication to the industry was recognized quickly by the PNAA Board of Directors.  In 2014, Chris was elected to  serve in a leadership position on the executive committee where he been the Board Secretary for two terms.  
 
Universal Aerospace Co. is a world class supplier of machined and sheet metal parts to the Aerospace and Commercial aircraft industries. The company produces complex machined aluminum alloy and high strength stainless steel parts and assemblies used in a wide variety of aerospace applications, primarily aircraft structures and cabin interiors. They also possess expert capabilities in the areas of sheet metal fabrication, precision assemblies, hydro formed and deep drawn components, bending, welding, and JIT services including kitting and point of use/kanban replenishing programs.
 

Tom Sanger has been a board member of the PNAA since 2005 and has been attending the conference for years. Tom is a Partner at Moss Adams LLP, where he started public accounting in 1994. He is a Partner in the Tax Specialty Group which is a group of 70+ professionals that provide tax services that serve all clients throughout the firm. These services include Cost Segregation, Research Credit, Other Federal Incentives and Credits, State and Local Taxes, Transfer Pricing, Federal Tax Controversy, and Comp and Benefits. Sanger is in charge of the firm’s Federal Credits and Incentives Group overseeing the Research Credit, Cost Segregation and Other Federal Credits and Incentives groups. These groups are structured to serve middle market clients in saving tax through various federal incentives and credits.
